Randstad CPE are currently recruiting for a Construction Manager to work on a major heavy civils project in the Buckinghamshire region! The subcontractor have secured over £120m across a number of areas, and are looking for a Construction Manager to help grow the team and oversee engineers, foreman and other relevant site-based teams. The role will involve overseeing several packages, and successful candidates muist have a strong background in earthworks and structures.
The position will offer a competitive salary and package, and will also offer lsubsistence for the right candidate. The role will also enable the successful nidividual to be exposed to a several factes of a major project and grow within an established team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Thorough knowledge needs to be maintained of the IFC Drawings, Specifications,
Technical Standards, Inspection and Test Plans, and the Mass Haul quantities and destinations for each e Asset in the section of work being undertaken.
Possess the ability to translate that knowledge into accurate construction on site witminimal NCR's / rework through effective communication with the Works Managers
and Foremen.
Produce the 3 weekly lookahead programmes each week and ensure as-built works
are taken into account. Work closely with the Works Manager to assign plant and labour to the programme and highlight any upcoming large changes in requirements to the Project Manager.
Ensure the production of good quality safety documentation (WPP's and Task
Briefings) in a timely manner to allow works to proceed and not be hindered by lack of
signed off paperwork. Candidate Requirements:
Civil Engineering Degree
Previous experience working on a major civils project in a similar capacity
CSCS card
