Configuration Team Leader

Working for an expanding hi-tech engineering organisation as a Configuration Team Leader, you will lead a small team of engineers and be responsible for product configuration and the effectiveness of change control. They are at the forefront of the aerospace industry and their purpose is to contribute to a safer, more sustainable world, where air transport is more environmentally friendly.

There will be a view of growing this team in the near future and you will play a key part in this. You will work closely with cross functional engineering teams to deliver configuration support across all areas of the business.

You will focus on configuration across the entire product range, from their legacy products to brand new bleeding edge technology that is key to the future of the aviation/aerospace market. The company have invested heavily into new areas of technology, and they are leading the way to Hybridisation of aircraft.

The company are working on a multitude of projects and have a global customer base. You will be based out of their design and manufacturing facility delivering engineering products to customers with a high level of governance.

You will ideally have some leadership experience, but they will also be keen to speak with ambitious engineers looking for a step into management. The ideal candidate will have a strong configuration background and be willing to roll their sleeves up, more importantly be up for a challenge and be able to drive the department forward in an interesting period of growth for them.

For this role we are looking for:

A strong product configuration background with exposure to working within a hi-tech engineering environment.

An understanding of the Change Management process.
