We have partnered together with an F1 team to recruit for a Composites Quality Engineer who will work very closely with Production engineering on daily NPI’s, control plans and issue resolution to be both reactive and proactive in the composites manufacturing process.
What’s on offer;
Lots! I could honestly be here all day telling you about this exciting team, excellent salary, bonus scheme, healthcare, pension and free lunch to name a few. Naturally they have a strong budget to invest on latest equipment and tech which will certainly make this role even more attractive. Part of the role is in the thick of the day to day production race so will be making decisions and thinking on your feet, however part will be working on the more Quality assurance tasks and partnering up with their highly skilled Manufacturing and design teams to be more strategic. On a daily basis you can expect to be working side by side with the composite production engineer, looking at both reactive and proactive tasks including gauge R&R, control plans, NPI, drawings reviews, SOP’s and Jigs. This would truly be an opportunity to work in an elite team of likeminded individuals in a world class facility…..now tell me that’s not what engineering dreams are made of?
What’s required;
Now, as you can imagine an opportunity like this is going to require a highly skilled individual. The type of individual that will be credible and confident in their knowledge when challenged by their counterparts. So, it goes without saying, extensive experience of quality engineering and composites within a manufacturing environment is a must. Their industry is F1, and a lot of their composite components have complex manufacturing processes, however they are open to people coming from outside the motorsport industry with relevant composites quality experience. Relevant quality experience could include the points mentioned above, such as; gauge R&R, control plans, NPI, SOP’s, PFMEA, PPAP and APQP’s.
So, to recap; you are both confident and competent on the complete end to end composites manufacturing process, you’ve had experience of a variety of quality engineering processes and you’re a natural relationship builder (from shop floor to senior managers). If this matches your experience, we would love to hear from you.
Please click to apply and Jason Parrott will be in touch to tell you about even more of the good stuff
