This growing engineering company is currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Operator/Setter to work within its close knit and busy manufacturing team. The company mainly focuses on Sheet Metal Fabrication, working with aluminium, but predominantly with stainless steel.

Job Profile

As the successful CNC Machinist you will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team of other highly skilled Machinists for very approachable manager, offering a stable and well-structured role with detailed job packs.

Duties

* Setting and Operating CNC lathes and mills

* Machining complex parts and components from various general engineering materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel

* Producing small components to tight tolerances from 1offs through to medium batch runs of 100 max, from detailed engineering drawings

* Manual Quality Control Inspection on first offs

Skills and Experience

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Experienced using Fanuc.

* Proven experience in setting and operating Bridgeport Mill and Doosan Lynx 220LY Lathe

* Quality awareness and time management

* Be able to work to tight deadlines

* Be reliable and punctual

* Must be self-motivated

Hours & Benefits

* 39hrs per week

* Monday-Thursday 7.30am-16.45pm & Friday 7.30am-12.30pm.

* Overtime paid from 39hrs per week x1.5hrs

* 20 days holiday
