The company

They are a small sub con who have some great clients including an F1 team which they have a very close relationship with, the workshop has been recently fitted out so you can expect a clean and fresh work space filled with top of the range 5 axis machines. You will find a friendly and passionate group of people in the workshop, they have team meetings to discuss how they can improve, Friday after work beers and team building events.

The Job

This is a role where you will be given Autonomy to make decisions, so naturally with that responsibility you must be credible. You will be in daily contact with the machinist’s that are running the programs so being on hand to answer any questions will be a given. On a daily basis you can expect to be defining the manufacturing strategy for a variety of components working with aerospace grade materials including Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium and Steel whilst engaging closely with the Machine Shop team to optimise each manufacturing process.

Experience

As this is a position of responsibility we are looking for an extremely competent Programmer, they use NX CAM software so someone must have that experienced to be considered. Someone who is engineering savvy, who can produce custom fixturing and must have detailed knowledge of cutting parameters and optimisation across a wide range of materials will thrive in this environment.
