MDC Precision is based in Milton Keynes, the 20000sq ft facility is the European manufacturing arm of MDC Precision LLC (US based headquarters). MDC Europe specialise in the manufacture of precision engineered vacuum and pressure vessels, components and systems, operating at the forefront of commercial science. Company products are used in the applied physical science departments of universities worldwide, national and multi-national research facilities as well as the materials and semiconductor research and development laboratories of telecommunications/electronics companies. MDC was formed in 1975 and has a global turnover >$80M p.a.
Due to growth we have a position available for 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC Miller. Successful candidate will have:
* Knowledge of Heidenhaim and Fanuc controls
* 3, 4 and 5 Axis experience
* Served a full Apprenticeship.
* Experience of machining Stainless steel.
* Experience in a low volume, light engineering manufacture in a high-tech industry with high proportion of “one off specials” & sub contract manufacture.
* A pragmatic, hands on approach and be a team player.
* A well organised, analytical mind and problem solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to take the initiative and work with minimal supervision.
* The abilty to contribute by making recommendations to simplify and improve efficiency in business process’
Hours available:
Basic – 8 – 5:30 Mon – Thurs 8 – 12 Fri
Shifts – 6 – 2 , 2 – 10 Rotating weekly.
Nights – 6 – 6 Mon – Thurs
Packages include:

Salaries from £13 – £18 per hour (role dependant)
Overtime at 1.5 times basic pay.
