Job Role: CNC Miller/Programmer

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08.00-17.00 + Optional Overtime

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Salary:  £32,000 – £36,000 (£15-£17 per hour)

Job Type:Full Time, Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Miller/Programmer to join an established and progressive precision engineering firm based in Milton Keynes. The company specialise in the manufacturing of components for formula one, motorsport, rail & defence based clients & due to continued growth, they are seeking to welcome an engineer on a full time, permanent basis.

The package:

30 days holiday (including public holidays)

Ongoing training development (Programming, Milling etc) – Accompanied with pay increases.

Monday-Friday (Opportunity to work overtime)

Overtime paid at time ½

Full time, permanent position

Uniform Provided

Free on site parking

Day to Day:

Setting & Operating 3, 5 axis Hurco machinery for the manufacturing of bespoke components

Work from CAD drawings  

Programme Fanuc controlled machinery for new orders

Collaborate effectively as a team to share knowledge and understand the process.

Set, Operate & Programme predominantly Milling machinery, however there is opportunity to utilise manual & CNC turning when necessary (training provided)  

What we need from you:

A time served engineer with extensive knowledge of CNC Milling working with 3 axis and/or 5 axis machinery.

Previous experience working with steel works, aluminium or plastics

Understanding of programming fanuc controlled machinery (Advantageous)

Ability to work alone & as part of a team

Willingness to learn and develop your capabilities
