Contek are working with a precision engineering Client in Buckinghamshire who produce components for various sectors including Automotive, Defence, Hydraulics and Catering equipment
My client in requires an experienced CNC Miller – Programmer/Setter to join the team.
37.5 hour week (preferably prepared to work shift but not essential).
Overtime opportunities available.
The Role:
As a CNC Programmer, your duties will include;
* Programming, setting and Operating CNC Milling machines using. HYPERMILL offline programming (Similar softwares considered).
* Working to tight tolerances.
* Using 3-5 axis machines.
* Ideally having experience with Horizontal mills.
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess the following;
* Strong experience Offline Programming,setting and operating – HYPERMILL/Mazatrol
* Confidently able to write own programmes from scratch
* Able to read and work to technical drawings
* Able to work unsupervised

The operator has to be time served machinist and must be able to work to tight tolerances program and set the machine
