A medium sized engineering company based near Ayelsbury are currently looking for CNC Gear Cutters to join their expanding team. The company are involved in aerospace, automotive, oil & gas and more sectors.

The hourly rate is up to £17ph depending on your experience. The hours are Monday to Thursday 2pm to 00.15am.

CNC Gear Cutter Duties:-

Programming, setting and operating Gleason Pfauter p500 ES, GP300 ES, P90, P60, P90G CNC machining centres
Utilising CMM to measure gear geometry
Operating tools to engineering drawings and designs
Involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control
Working to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawingsSkills & experience needed for this CNC Gear Cutting role:-

You will have experience programming, setting and operating CNC Gear cutting machines
You will have knowledge of Siemens CNC Controls
Gearcam programming experience would be advantageous
You'll have a sound working knowledge and understanding of machine toolingThis is a permanent position subject to you passing a 12 week probation.
