This is a 5 axis machinist position where you will be manufacturing components for the motorsport industry for this company based in Milton Keynes. They supply a lot of their work into the F1 industry so high precision in everything you do is required to meet the high standards set in this industry. The role comes with responsibility as it’s a small team and being a 5 axis machinist you will be one of the more senior members of the team so may be required to mentor some less experienced employees.

5 axis experience

5+ years CNC experience

As this is a part of a small team, you need to be highly skilled and comfortable at making engineering decisions. These engineering decisions could be about anything from the general cutting strategy, tooling, jigs or even the vice used. You can expect their workshop to be immaculate with 5 axis DMG and Matsuura machines, they run an open door policy and you can expect team meetings where suggestions are able to be made.
