Kingsley Consulting Ltd are recruiting a CAD Technical Specialist to work for a leading Waterproofing Product Manufacturing Business. Our client really is a leader in their sector and so can provide a fantastic opportunity to a highly motivated candidate to join their technical team. Location: 1/2 days from home/ 3 days in Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £35K + 10% bonus, 25 days holiday and additional benefits
Hours: 40hrs Mon-Friday

Role information:
The post holder will be responsible for delivering Technical Support to Architects, Roofing Contractors, Main Contractors and other Customer Groups. There will be a focus on offering both technical support and design support to internal stakeholders and customers to help build project specifications.

Key responsibilities:
Provide technical advice to customers and sales teams
Offer detailed technical support for a defined flat technical area of expertise
Support the creation of system specifications ensuring all specifications produced are compliant with internal and external standards
Ensure all system specifications and inspections are created and logged within the system
Carryout Wind Uplift, U-Value & Drainage calculations to support the specification offering
Ensure basic technical questions can be answered for all roofing product areas and seek support of internal colleagues if more detailed responses are needed.
Person profile:
Technical understanding in either Manufacturing/Construction or similar Industry is essential.
Experience reading and understanding technical drawings
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage/prioritise own workload
Experience using CAD is essential and/ or Revit system (desirable)
