Buyer position sought for an established manufacturer offering ongoing training and development including CIPS qualifications. The company are very employee driven and offer an excellent benefits package.
To apply for the role, candidates need to have an engineering background and keen to pursue a career in procurement. You need to be able to understand engineering drawings, materials and manufacturing processes. The Company are willing to develop the successful individual on the procurement side. Applicant must be proficient with Microsoft and have excellent communication skills.
You will assist the Procurement Manager in managing the supplier base building long term relationships with suppliers. You’ll ensure effective supplier management to ensure the needs of the business are met, identify potential new suppliers when needed and maintain all data.
The company have been established for over 50 years and occupy a large manufacturing facility that provides its products to a global client base with many subsidiary partners.
