Business Development Manager (Solar PV)

£35'000 – £45'000 + Uncapped commission + Company share + Pension + Holidays

This award-winning company specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of commercial rooftop projects across the UK and are seen as industry leaders within the Solar sector. They have seen exceptional success in recent years, and are now looking to expand their business development team to continue future growth.

In this role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new Solar PV business opportunities in the commercial, industrial and public sector. This will involve communicating and building relationships with corporate customers, liaising with the internal teams and having an involvement in projects up until completion.

The ideal candidate will be a business development or sales manager with experience of sourcing new business and stakeholder management in the C&I solar PV, renewable or construction sector.

The role:
*Commercial roof-top solar PV projects
*Develop new business opportunities in the commercial, industrial and public sectors.
*Build relationships and communicate with senior management within commercial and industrial end users
*Liaise and coordinate with internal teams to see projects from start to finish
*Remote working with some need to travel for client visits

The Person:
*Previous experience in business development role
*Experience within the commercial / industrial solar PV or construction sector
*Experience of stakeholder management dealing with large corporate organisations
*Driven, self-starter attitude
*Full UK Driving License
