The Role

My client is currently looking for someone to come in and act as a Business Development Manager for the team. They ideally are looking for someone with a sales background that has a full understanding of the railway.

The team currently has lots of brilliant engineers and Project Manager's; however there is a need for someone who has outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.

The need for someone from a Business Development Management background is because they will be responsible for managing the stakeholders on current projects but also looking for potential opportunities for the business to continue to build Innovation projects, on track and off track.

This team is responsible for all the technology that will be released over the next 5 years across the railway.

Essential Experience

*Relevant successful experience in project management
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Team leader capable of motivating the team
*Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge
