Building Services – Maintenance Engineer required for an established National Service Provider to cover a Commercial office site in Milton Keynes. Basic Salary to £40k Neg – plus overtime and excellent benefits scheme.
Our client has been established for over 30 years and has a group turnover in excess of £250m. As a result in a change of requirements for one of their long standing clients they now need a permanent static Building Services Engineer to be based at a large office in Milton Keynes.
Requirement
* Minimum 5 Years Industry Experience as an Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
* 18th Edition preferred.
* Strong Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC fault finding skills with a 1st fix approach
* Worked in a similar role previously
* Experience undertaking general Building Services of HVAC plant
Strong fault finding experience is essential in this role and you will be expected to carry out works on traditional plant equipment right through to more modern systems. Your typical day to day duties will involve planned and reactive maintenance on general building services. This may involve, lamp / ballast changes, filter cleaning, belt / pump replacements, AHU's, FCU's, fire alarm checks, temperature and tap tests, sanitary ware repairs, Air Conditioning and Boiler checks, minor alterations to BMS set points etc
As the Maintenance Engineer you will ideally have come from an Electrical background and either completed an apprenticeship or have at least 5 to 10 years experience as a Building Services Maintenance Engineer. Additional experience with Air Conditioning, plumbing or as a Multi Skilled Engineer desirable.
