An international construction, engineering and FM contractor

The role:

A leading FM provider are looking for a BMS Engineer to join their team on a large commercial site near Milton Keynes. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the building maintenance systems across numerous facilities.

The initial task will be to manage a transition from Johnson Control's Metasys to a Trend system across the site. Throughout and following this transition, you will be carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance to the system, as well as completing the appropriate paperwork and reports.

Assistance will be provided is the form of a BMS sub-contractor, who attends site two days a week.

You will be proactive in the goal of reducing energy consumption on site, assisting in the 5% reduction target, year on year.

You will be required to work a rotating shift pattern Monday-Friday (7am-3.30pm and 09.30am – 6pm).

There is a 1/5 call out rota (£100/wk) however call outs are infrequent and there is a van on site that can be used when on call.

The person:

* You will have knowledge of both Trend and Johnson Metasys BMS systems, with an understanding of BMS programming.

* You will preferably be a fully qualified, time-served electrician or HVAC engineer, with experience in a client-facing maintenance/FM role.

The package:

* £37,000 with a £1,000 shift allowance (negotiable on experience)

* The company also offers a generous package, including 8% pension and 25 days holiday.
