BIM Engineer

Are you an experienced BIM Engineer looking to join a leading Civil Engineering contractor to work on one of Europes largest infrastructure projects.
Do you want to use your BIM knowledge and engineering experience to drive strategy and innovation in an award-winning, growing organistion
If so, my client currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team as a BIM Engineer. As the BIM Engineer you will report into the Principal Digital Engineer and work alongside my client's in-house construction teams, playing a key role in developing BIM capabilities.

Responsibilities:
Produce regulation-compliant and cost effective designs that meet business specifications.
Contribute to project design development, collaborating closely with project stakeholders throughout the whole project lifecycle and contributing to coordination, clash detection and design review workshops.
Produce intelligent 3D models and add more value by extracting information directly from the model.
Analyse and manipulate models and drawings from the client's suppliers and partners.

Requirements:

Ambitions and driven individual who is looking to build upon their BIM and design experience.
Construction or Civil Engineering Degree.
Experience working on large mechanical/electrical projects (ideally within the UK Water Industry).
Awareness of health and safety, including CDM issues and design risks.
Proficient in CAD or BIM design software packages such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks or Revit.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain and build working relationships with stakeholders.
Excellent report writing skills and ability to write, implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans.
