Automation & PLC Controls Engineer | Milton Keynes
Salary: up to £40,000 (dependent on exp.)
Hours: Mon-Fri (8:30-17:30), Flexibility needed, however.

We are excitedly helping recruit for an internationally renowned Food Manufacturer, based in Buckinghamshire, that produces some of the highest quality products within their specialism.
About the Role
Being an integral part of the Engineering & Maintenance department, you will be responsible for looking at production line optimisation, to ensure that the operation remains running effectively and efficiently. You will be required to write technical documents, develop, and program PLCs and HMI's and be part of the technological innovation. With the planned/expected growth of the business, you will commission equipment, optimise & improve lines and troubleshoot where needed. With a real drive to help develop this area of business, you can be integral to adding value to the operation.
The Ideal Candidate
Obviously, Engineering experience is needed to be able to competently complete tasks within the role. You will need to be a skilled Electrical Engineer, with some experience in PLC Languages (Schnieder or Rockwell ideally), robotics, and Automation. Along with the hands-on capability, the individual must have a can-do attitude and always be willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in if needed. The business we are recruiting for is open-minded on background, but you will have had the least 12months of experience within an industry role.
