Having experienced a growing workload throughout lockdown and a hybrid office working approach this consultancy are seeking an Associate level Civil Engineer to join, lead and develop their civils team.

They work on projects across the UK from large scale residential developments to multi-structure commercial developments and mixed use structures. You will be overseeing an established and talented team of Civil engineers and technicians and be responsible for liaising with clients, statutory bodies as well as growing the team in line with agreed business targets.

Part of your role technically will involve the pre-planning aspects of a development including Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, the design of Drainage Strategies, FRAs and Travel plans. You will be required to demonstrate you knowledge and expertise in these areas at interview stage.

Alongside the technical aspects of the role you will be able to communicate your ideas well both verbally and in writing and be comfortable acting in a managerial role. Full support and training will be available for you if you have not had the opportunity to develop your management skills previously.

As a practice they use a wide range of softwares, whilst you will not be required to have a working knowledge of them all you will have to be capable of learning new softwares and managing the output of others using those softwares.

The role does not require you to be chartered but it is a requirement for you to wish to become chartered and be willing to do so once you have joined.
