Assistant Trainee Fitter

Milton Keynes – Covering North, Central and East London

£18,500 to £20,000 DOE + £3,000 Discretionary Bonus + 23 Days Holiday (Increases By Five Days with Service) + Training and Development

Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week

Assistant Trainee Fitter required for a leading manufacturer and supplier of security doors, screens and frames. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a growing company who can offer training and career development.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in joinery, carpentry and/or general building services. Experience with installation or fitting would be desirable however this is not essential as the company can provide full training.

The successful Assistant Trainee Fitter will work closely with the Team Leader installing aluminium doors, screens, and frames largely at local authority sites. You will operate a variety of hand and power tools for this and can expect to partake in general building works such as rendering / plastering. You will be involved in the loading and unloading of installation vehicles, stripping out old units and the fixing of new units.

The company’s depot is based in Milton Keynes, however, you will work at sites in London also.

The Assistant Trainee Fitter Role:

* Installation of security doors, screens and frames

* Loading and unloading installation vehicles at the depot

* Covering the Milton Keynes and London

* Training available

The Person:

* Experience with building services, carpentry and joinery experience ideal 

* Confident with hand and power tools
