An F1 car consists of about 80,000 components. Each component has to be manufactured, built and fitted with 100% accuracy to ensure they have the best chance of winning……and this is where you come in!

The Role

You can expect be working on both child parts and complete assemblies used for manufacturing parts for an F1 car. You will be working to engineering drawings, and written instructions from the engineers to assemble complex components to tight tolerances, so like everything in F1, precision is key. And another thing are you working all the hours and not being rewarded???? Here you can expect to be paid for any overtime you work.

The Business

You will be working within a small sub con, who work exclusively with an F1 team, they have a small team of engineers within a newly refurbished F1 style environment. As they are a small team you will be given the chance to get involved in all aspects of the manufacturing process.

Experience

Much like the F1 cars themselves, your day will be fast-paced, so being a self-starter with a sense of urgency, one that thrives on meeting and exceeding deadline is a must! No qualifications required to do this role but previous Motorsport mechanic/assembly style is must.
