Applications Engineer- Physics

This varied role would be a great fit for either a Physics Grad looking for a technical role with customer interaction or an experienced Applications Engineer who has worked with a physics related product.

You will work with X-Ray technology which can be used in a wide range of applications across multiple industries. Joining a business who are expanding rapidly with new products being released into the market next year you will provide technical guidance during the pre-sales process identifying different technical customer requirements.

Working closely with internal teams of scientists, engineers, and sales you will identify solutions to complex customer problems working on sample analysis and providing training to new and existing customers.

The role will require some travel which is likely to be around 20-25% with domestic and international travel included. This could be visiting customers or attending trade shows, exhibitions, or conferences.

For this role we are looking for….

A bright physics graduate who is looking for a customer focussed applications role.

Or

An experienced application engineer who has worked with a scientific physics related product.

The role can offer a great pathway into different roles within this expanding business which could lead into sales, project management or applications management type roles.

Salary is completely dependant on experience level
