Applications Engineer (CNC)

My client is on the lookout for an application engineer to install and train customers on their state of the art machine tools. You have the opportunity to work for a company that offers great benefits and an amazing flexible working approach. The role is home-based and includes amazing benefits including a company car and a great salary package.

The role entails:

Attending sites across the UK, Ireland, and Europe to train customers on how to run and operate their machinery.
Complete on the machine training
Software assistance and programming training on Fanuc.
Installations and testing of the new machines at the customer's premises and showrooms.Key skills that are required:

Must have the ability to program competently on Fanuc involving mill-turn processes.
Prepare the correct tooling lists tailored to customers requirements
Experience with complex components and technical drawings
Experience in training staff on machines
Willingness to work away from home Monday to Friday and the ability to work UK wide and in Europe.Full product training will be given over an extended period and have you up to speed as a self-sufficient application engineer within 6 months.
