Applications Engineer – Aylesbury

Fusion People Recruitment are seeking a professional, self-motivated individual with Application Engineer skills to join our client based in Aylesbury for the position of Applications Engineer. You will provide support as needed to the new development of automatic x-ray inspection routines.

Job role: Applications Engineer
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)
Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
Benefits: Pension scheme

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Customer orientated focus.
*Good understanding of test and inspection principles.
*Ability to travel extensively within Europe when needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Essential
*Degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
*Dedication to 'hands on' work in a lab environment.

Desirable
*Understanding of semiconductor device fabrication and electronic devices.
*Prior experience with industrial x-ray inspection systems.
*Experience of using imaging systems and image processing methods.
