Applications Engineer – the role:
Our market leading precision CNC machinery manufacturer are looking for an Applications Engineer to train their clients staff on using their equipment.
* Visit customer sites throughout the UK & Ireland (although mainly Midlands) to provide machine set-up, prove-out, cutting and operator training as required either as part of a new machine sales contract, or as requested by the end user
* Support dealers throughout our territories, to provide machine set-up, prove-out, cutting and engineer training as required, to include new and existing models of Citizen machines
* Support the European Sales Manager with dealer requests as required
* Prepare and prove machining methods and programs designed to provide solutions to customers' manufacturing problems. This involves working through the sales engineer involved and liaising directly with the customer
Applications Engineer – requirements:
* Must be an applications engineer or a highly experienced CNC Turner
* Must have extensive experience with programming G-Code
* Must be prepared and happy to travel, work away from home frequently
* Must have a full UK driving license
Salary: Basic of £32k with realistic earnings of £45k
