UK Parking Control have an exciting opportunity for a ANPR Installation Engineer to join the team.

Location: Wooburn Green

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm (hour for lunch). These may be varied in line with requirements and some weekends and overnight stays will be required

ANPR Installation Engineer – The Role:

Are you a qualified electrician looking for a new opportunity? If so, this could be the role for you as we have a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding ANPR team. We are looking for qualified electricians to join our team installing new ANPR systems across the Midlands regions.  Ideally you will be based in the Midlands area.

ANPR Installation Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

– Installation of ANPR systems across the country

– Attending site visits when required

– Assist in the production of sales quotes if required

– Carry out maintenance and service visits on existing sites

– Installation of posts, cutting of channels and ladder work when required (training will be provided if required)

– Installation of signage when needed

– Key point of contact with suppliers for equipment and supplies

– Responsible for maintaining stock of required supplies and tools

– Management of an apprentice to bring them along in the role

– Centre of competence for all technical aspects of the installation

ANPR Installation Engineer – You:

– Having an excellent attention to detail

– Working under pressure

– Demonstrating strong time management

– Communication between suppliers and head office

– Making decisions on the spot if incorrect information has been provided

– Able to take ownership and accountability when making decisions

– Flexible and adaptable approach

– Pro-active and capable of working on own initiative

– Strong team work ethic

– Organised and methodical approach to work

ANPR Installation Engineer – Experience/knowledge/skills:

– Qualified Electrician

– Preferable experience in CCTV or ANPR installation not essential

– Full clean Driving licence

– Physically fit

– Good technical knowledge and aptitude
