Our top priority is to find and fix any leaks in our system – and to help customers plug leaks at home and at work too. Every day we have 300 people finding and fixing leaks and spend £14 million each year driving down leakage.
We are currently looking for an Advanced Leakage Intervention Technician to join our team. The role will be based in the South of our region covering areas around Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Northampton & Huntingdon.
As a frontier performer in leakage, we pride ourselves on investing in the right people, tools and technology to do our bit to enable us to achieve our goal of driving leakage down to world leading levels.
As a proven leakage expert, you will be working within our Leakage Delivery Team to investigate and resolve emerging and historic leakage on the treated water distribution network, supply sites and raw water abstraction network using the full range of tools, technology, and techniques available to you.
As a field-based role, you are frontline customer facing and as such will deliver excellent customer service, always looking for opportunities to go the extra mile and enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
As a senior field based role you will help to train, guide and coach junior members of the team to become the best they can be with respect to skills and behaviours. Always seeking opportunities to role model, and always working to established procedures and best practice methods to deliver leading leakage investigations, whilst ensuring the safe-guarding of the treated water distribution network.
Our Advanced Leakage Intervention Technicians are enthusiastic and hard working, with excellent attention to detail and a desire to get things right first time.

What does it take to be an Advanced Leakage Intervention Technician?

Highly adaptable and flexible

Outstanding customer service skills

Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills

Exposure to a fast paced, diverse environment where resilience and immediate objective decision-making are critical success factors

Knowledge of leakage detection including data logging, and PRV’s
*
Extensive Network understanding including, DMA Hydraulics and interpreting flow and pressure data sets.
*
Full UK driving licence
