Let’s set the scene – You’re an experienced CNC Machinist with a good job. You’ve got a nice shift pattern, you like the people you work with, but you’ve landed on this ad because you’re wondering if there is something more!

Well, there is something else! I’ve been directed by a famous F1 team who are looking for passionate individuals like yourself to come on board and join the journey to success. This is a fantastic team who’s manufacturing department set the standards for the rest of the grid to follow.

There are obviously a few key skills we need, but you’re looking at this advert because the likelihood is, you already have them! It would be great if we could all land our dream role based on personality alone – But if you are determined, passionate, enthusiastic and can competently edit programs, set and operate on 5 axis CNC Machines… Keep reading!

This team is calling out for experienced machinists who not only have the ability to operate and program 5 axis CNC Machines, but also offer your expertise to other colleagues. If you are the person on the shop floor who’s always sharing your knowledge, guiding and helping others, we would really like to hear from you. This is on an initial 6 months fixed term contract but has every possibility of being transferred to a permanent job.

• On-line programming/editing, setting and operating 5 axis CNC mills

• Using Heidenhain controls to manufacture precision components.

• Using a range of material, tooling block or metallics including exotic materials

• Working on a 4 on 4 off days pattern
