CarmichaelUK are seeking expressions of interest from experienced 3D CAD Modellers in Microstation to work on a major HS2 package in Buckinghamshire.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting to the Survey Manager:

Technical and practical experience in design, management and delivery of assets

Ensuring that all project documents are issued to relevant parties, including Engineers, Surveyors, Construction Manager

Provide the Project Engineering Team with CAD & Design support throughout the project.

Prepare drawings in accordance with current standards and codes of practice including heavy civils aspects, reinforced concrete detailing/ scheduling and structural steel detailing

Ensure that drawings are prepared, stored, issued and archived in accordance with company procedures 

In house modelling of the production of a range of temporary works structures including platforms, berms, haul roads, bridges, drainage and structural steel for sequencing in the Site BIM model.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience of working on Civils and Rail projects

Proficient in use of Microstation 3D, Bentley and  Projectwise 

BTEC ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent in a construction related subject.

An excellent knowledge of core engineering principles and structural awareness.

A sound knowledge of computer/IT skills
