An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Development Engineer – ATE based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire to join a successful wireless communications company.
Responsibilities of The Test Development Engineer – ATE job:
-Fault find complex electronic assemblies and provide guidance to Test Technicians on techniques to apply
-Work in a multi-functional department supporting Analogue, Digital and RF Designers, providing expertise and support to test of RF & Electronic PCB and final Assembly level products
-As part of a multidisciplinary R&D team will be responsible for formulating new test strategies for new products and defining hardware to meet test specifications
-Working with a multi-disciplined engineering team and to tight time scales
-Will get involved in electronic equipment and PCB design, LabVIEW / Python test software generation, providing all necessary documentation and development and support of production test procedures.
Requirements for the Test Development Engineer – ATE job:
-Excellent working knowledge of complex electronic products and Test equipment
-A working knowledge of automated test systems using any of the following: Python. NI LabVIEW / LabWindows, TestStand, MatLab or similar
-Familiar with Modern RF analysis tools (e.G. ADS, AWR)
-Ability to align, test and fault-find to component level complex electronic products up to and including Sub-System level
Any previous experience of Wireless / RF oriented products would be beneficial, but not essential.
