The main function of the job is the design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities to maximise working capital and stock availability whilst maintaining excellent Customer Service to agreed lead times through efficient use of resources in MPS MK and DME in China.

The Supply Chain Manager job will focus on:

*Manage directly and indirectly Sourcing, Purchasing, Planning and delivery of raw materials to meet the manufacturing requirements of in order to deliver excellent Customer Service in terms of price, delivery and quality.
*Execute effective negotiations with suppliers to ensure excellent relationships, shortest lead times, on time delivery and lowest total costs of the Finished Goods.
*Manage the planning, warehousing and Shipping functions to ensure excellent Customer Service in terms of price,
Availability and quality of the finished goods.

To effectively perform the duties of a Supply Chain Manager, Individuals must be able to demonstrate a number of competencies that are essential to the position, which include:

Essential
*Five plus years' experience in a supply chain management position. Preferably within the Electronics Industry.
*Have a sound understanding of MRP and MPS
*Be willing to travel worldwide as required.
*Have knowledge of manufacturing methods used in the electronics industry, particularly in the PCB and injection moulding industry
