The ideal candidate will come from a power electronics background with strong business development experience and a proven track record of generating and growing profitable revenue streams. You will be technically able and have strong communication skills. You should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. Home based, with extensive international travel (when possible) you will be expected to attend the factory to collaborate with the engineering and applications team. You will report directly to , and work closely with the Manging Director.
Responsibilities
Maximise and grow revenues through the support of current sales channels through the promotion of current and new products.
Work closely with customers and the engineering team to develop sales solutions.
Work with established sales channels, distributors, customers and engineering teams, identifying and defining new product opportunities, (size of market, new product definition, and value proposition, target customers, competition, pricing, market strategy etc)
Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
Maintain existing business
Think critically when planning to assure project success
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years industrial electronics experience
Qualification in Electronic Engineering
Be willing to travel as required (up to 4 months a year, Europe and Worldwide)
Minimum of 10 years business development experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
Focused and goal-oriented
