Purpose of the role
As part of a small sales and marketing team, this role involves supporting existing business and maintaining current customer relationships, as well as developing new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for representing the company at trade exhibitions and contributing towards the development of new sales and marketing literature.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting internal and external sales staff
Preparation of sales quotes
Managing sales follow up and reporting activities
Customer relationship management
Supporting development of new business opportunities
Participating in sales and marketing activities – including international exhibition attendance
This is not a cold calling sales role.
Qualifications / Essential Skills
Degree in material science, chemistry, physics or a related discipline
Experience of commercial or customer facing role would be highly desirable (Although training will be provided)
Working experience of compound semiconductor materials would be highly desirable and or a post graduate qualification in compound semiconductor science (materials, epitaxy or devices)
Ability to travel overseas (4 to 6 weeks through the year)
