My client is a multi-million pound company who are market leaders in their field. They are now seeking a Project Manager- Mechanical to join their team. Someone who has a proven track record in successfully delivering a wide range of projects. As their new Project Manager you will be responsible for creating project proposals, present to and review with customers; provide technical leadership and direction to cross functional project teams (hardware, software, mechanical); direct resource allocation for projects and manage project schedules and budgets; lead team and customer communications and ensure customer satisfaction and to develop long-term customer relationships.

Our client is interested in hearing from candidates who are educated to degree level within either Electronic, Software or Mechanical Engineering and who possess extensive knowledge of product development.

The Project Manager- Mechanical job will involve:
*Leading a portfolio of engineering projects as well as matrix managing a multi-disciplinary team.
*Maintenance of full project life cycle
*Previous track record in estimation and costs
*Establish and introducing project management processes
*Developing projects and driving the business forward to achieve the company's growth objectives.

Skills required for the Project Manager- Mechanical job:
*Proven experience of managing projects in structured environment, need to demonstrate experience of implementing a stage gate process.
*Possesses solid understanding and experience in at least one discipline (e.G. Analogue, digital, mechanical, software, PCB, test, mechanical) of product development
*Project or programme leadership and experience working with customers
*Proven product development experience and formal Project management qualification
