Our client has an exciting opportunity for a utilities professional to join their team as a Project Manager, delivering multiple projects across the Midlands, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and surrounding area from initial concept to project completion.
If you hold proven experience within the Utilities sector, ideally Electricity (HV and LV) on DNO and/or ICP networks, and looking for a new challenge then this could be the perfect opportunity! This position has an immediate start and is being offered on a long-term contract and assessed as outside of IR35!
Salary: Competitive
Project Manager Requirements:
Proven background within full lifecycle Project Management within a DNO/ICP ideally with an Electrical Bias
Involvement within Design, estimating, tender preparation and submission, prelims to full commissioning and handover of Assets.
Ensuring full Compliance for allocated projects, including overseeing HSEQ and management of Sub-Contractors to a high standard.
Experience of working closely with Councils and LA
Good attention to detail and skilled in the preparation and completion of project documentation, planning and scheduling.
A proven background of project delivery on time, on budget and to a high level of service.
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong use of MS Office and good use of IT
Flexible and adaptable approach with a solution focussed deadline driven approach
Qualifications and Certifications
NRSWA
SMSTS/SSSTS
SHEA EUSR
DNO/ICP network authorisation would be an advantage.
Engineering Degree or equivalent qualifications, ideally Electrical Discipline
Full UK Driving License
Project Manager Benefits:
Our client is offering this position on a long-term Contract basis.
This position is assessed as outside of IR35
