Exciting Career opportunity for a Principal ATE Test Engineer joining a leading design and manufacturer of high-reliability electronic subsystems, modules, and components for high-performance defence and space applications.
Based in the Buckinghamshire facility the Principal ATE Test Engineer will be responsible for the Development of ATE and test techniques used in production and verification of RF Equipment.
You will Develop efficient ATE software solutions to support manufacture of product lines, ensuring adherence to all quality and qualification guidelines.
You will support on-going proposal and tender process by working with design engineering and process engineering to understand customer requirements and provide inputs to bid manager in support of the tender.
You will focus on support to production by ensuring continued operation of existing test sites, including upgrade, maintenance and de-bugging.
The Principal ATE Test Engineer position will include Line management responsibility for other members of the test engineering department.
The Successful Principal ATE Test Engineer will have :
*Minimum 5-10 years industry experience
*Understanding of RF component and system requirements as well as verification and validation methods
*Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams.
*Understanding of software verification processes
*Line-management experience desirable but not essential
*Understanding of Digital Signal Processing test methods as an advantage.
*Experience with Labview
*Detailed understanding of test equipment, capabilities, and calibration
*Software programming (Python, C/C+, VHDL etc) experience desirable
*SC Cleared or ability to obtain
*Ability to travel
