Pricing Team Leader, for established Global Organisation in Milton Keynes, hybrid working, to £30,000

Do you have a passion for data analysis and pricing? We are looking for somebody to have ownership of the Pricing processes within this Global Organisation.

We are looking for somebody who can lead a small Pricing Team. You will retrieve, analyse and evaluate pricing data and use this in data cleansing activities. You will also be the first point of escalation for problem solving within the team and make on the spot decisions regarding margin maximisation.

* Day to Day Special Pricing Agreement admin – KPI management and reporting

* Identify process improvements – counters, bottlenecks etc.

* Undertake data cleansing activities to ensure all systems work efficiently

* Holiday cover for Pricing co-coordinators

* Ad-hoc data gathering to support Pricing Team and Sales teams

* Compliance with H&S policy and procedures.

* Attend monthly meetings with European country leaders and the finance team

* Manage Annual Price Adjustments processes, analysis and implementation

The successful candidate will have:

* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel (IF statements, INDEX, MATCH, Vlookups, formulas).

* Good standard of education, GCSE English and Maths particularly A-C grades (or equivalent)

* Bachelor’s degree in a numerical subject will be an advantage (Maths, business, economics, finance)

* Communication skills are vital to deal with stakeholders from across Europe and the US.

* You need to be creative in Access query building and Excel to achieve accurate data for mass data updates

* Enjoy working with data from various systems.

* Enjoy providing leadership to a small team that will rely on you for data extraction and support to solve more complex problems.

* Previous experience working in a pricing or similar role is highly desirable.
