Are you an inspirational and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher? Would you like to work in a friendly and dynamic primary school in Bletchley, Milton Keynes? If so, we would love to hear from you!
We are currently working with a lovely Primary School based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
They are looking for a Maths Intervention Teacher to come on board and help with COVID catch up.
The role would be 5 mornings a week Monday-Friday, 08:30am-12:30pm.
The start date will either be Monday 12th April 2021 or Monday 19th April 2021 this has not been decided yet.
This role would be for one term.
Skills needed-
Planning and delivering high quality maths lessons- through a confident understanding of the national curriculum expectations for KS2 (including the Ready to progress criteria for catch-up) and ability to model and scaffold mathematical understanding.
Ability to quickly establish positive relationships with children which allows their mathematical knowledge to flourish.
Ability to set challenging expectations in lessons to ensure progress is constantly being made.
Ability to promote the progress, achievement, and independence of all children in Maths.
Ability to carry out ongoing assessment of children's mathematical understanding, and reflectively applying this knowledge in the planning of future lessons.
