Job Title:              Electronic Systems / Hardware Engineer  
Location:              Buckinghamshire
Job Type:             Full-Time, Permanent (Interim Contract Considered)

The Client:
We are working with a cutting-edge automotive manufacturer, who is developing exciting new technologies. Their engineering team is responsible for developing and supplying situational awareness and navigation platforms. Since their founding they have rapidly expanded and recently gained a significant 8 figure investment from OEMs and Tier 1s.

Their product is supported by a proprietary software backed up by hundreds of patents (issued or pending). As this team of high-profile engineers and scientists continues to grow, they are looking to expand their core research function through the hiring of experienced Electronic Engineers to develop new hardware & systems.

The Role:
The position is within the businesses core function, their research and development team, technologies of which has built the business to where it is today, and maintains their standing as true pioneers of the industry.

Responsibilities of an Electronics Engineer within the business include:

Development of Electronic hardware for next generation laser holography systems
Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits (concept, component evaluation, schematic design, and PCB layout). Full lifecycle implementation.
Optimisation and development of PCB’s within optoelectronic systems.
Writing and modifying FPGA and microcontroller code to the highest standard.
Delivery of premium electronics hardware in a fast-moving R&D environment.
Qualifications/Experience:

Masters’ Degree (preferable) in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline.
