Electronics Instrumentation Engineer required to join our client in Buckinghamshire.
A new role has opened for an experienced engineer to join a small yet highly successful engineering business in Buckinghamshire. As an Electronics Instrumentation Engineer you will work with the R&D team to transfer new products from R&D to production.

What is the role?
As an Electronics Instrumentation Engineer you will be there to assist the Research & Development team to get products moving into production.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and fault finding on instruments prior to final testing.
Commission instruments by providing technical expertise and practical support using schematics and test equipment.
Solving technical problems on new and existing designs as well as making improvements and considering component obsolescence.
PCB design and CAD based documentation maintenance.
Service of systems using fault finding techniques, both in-house and customer sites. (This will include travel of up to 3-4 times per year).
What are we looking for?
To be considered for the Electronics Instrumentation Engineer we are looking for someone with practical hands-on experience and the following:
Technical qualification within Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar and/or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding and experience with electronic circuits, ability to fault find to component level.
Experience using test equipment – multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers etc.
Experience working on scientific instrumentation would be considered a huge advantage
