Electronics Design Engineer

Job Details

An Electronics Design Engineer is sought for a 3-4 month contract in Buckinghamshire

Involved in all aspects of product design and development you will be responsible for: –

* Development of new Hardware products

* Support of existing Hardware portfolio

* Design of test and calibration equipment

* Create user-friendly interfaces

* Project planning and product costing

* Write specifications and technical reports

The successful candidate will have a selection of the following skills: –

Hardware

* Design of low power battery circuits

* Microcontroller based design

* Analogue Design

* Schematic capture

* PCB Layout

* Fault-Finding

Software/ Firmware

* C/C++ Embedded design

* Familiarity with SPI/I2C/UART protocols

* Well documented & commented code

* Firmware Test Procedures

You will also have the ability to create test procedures & rigs and carry out product evaluation

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are important as are good spoken and written communication skills
