Electrical Installation Engineer
Our Client have a vacancy for an Electrical Installation Engineer, to support one of there Lead Engineers, based in Milton Keynes but installing there product is based
across the UK and sometimes further afield.
They are seeking a hard working team player. Installation experience would be an advantage but training will be given to work safely on high voltage battery systems. As some projects are on construction sites experience of working in such an environment would be helpful.
The installation of there product is time critical but must always be to a high standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position works with and reports to the Lead Service Engineer. Once trained to Certified Installer status the individual must be able to:
Install the product in a professional and efficient manner.
Be aware of the Health and Safety aspects of working with high voltages and often on construction sites.
Troubleshoot and fault find problems in the field during installation, call outs or service visits.
Provide basic product training to customers as required.
Establish a good relationship when interacting with personnel from our customers, end users and other trades.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications and Experience Guideline
Must be reliable and able to stay away overnight if required, travel internationally and hold a valid UK or EU passport.
Hold a valid CITB skills card (i.e. CSCS or ECS) or pass the necessary tests to obtain one at the first opportunity.
Hold or obtain Health and Safety certifications for working with electricity, manual work and working on construction sites. First Aid would be an advantage.
Be able to work well as part of a two or three man team, working to tight deadlines
Ability and patience to troubleshoot systems and configurations
Excellent communication skills.
UK driving license and own vehicle an advantage
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, meticulous and patient individual with good common sense who takes pride in their work.
Package
A salary of £25,000 per annum is paid during the probationary period rising to £30,000 per annum once fully trained.
