At Lecter, a well-established electrical design and build company, a great opportunity has arisen. An experienced, proactive Electrical Project Manager is required, with a technical knowledge of commercial electrical installations, to join their team based in Aylesbury.
About the role
* Taking responsibility of the project from initial handover through to project completion
* Attending site to ensure project is on programme and installation is correct
* Attending site meetings, liaising with clients and subcontractors
* Health and safety documentation & tool box talks
* Material management & ordering
* Project financial management
* Managing any changes that occur throughout the project
* Completing OMM’s ready for issue before project completion, with assistance from the admin & drawing team
About you
* Have at least 3 years’ experience in the same or similar role and be familiar with the tasks above
* Is a qualified electrician/engineer and have previous commercial installation experience (valid CSCS gold/project managers card is necessary)
* Is up to date with current IEE regulations and current edition of BS7671 wiring regulations and hold current associated qualification
* Have a good understanding of how to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
* Have excellent communication skills via phone, email and in person
* Have professional people-management skills and show this in a commercial environment
* Is able to multitask and prioritise between projects and tasks
* Have a forward thinking and proactive attitude
* Has the ability to use electrical testing and/or design software would be advantageous
