The overall responsibility for the BP Pulse Data Model, utilized across the organization in all facets of decision making. Furthermore to be a part of a team dedicated to making positive change, transforming an industry and helping our planet

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

* Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for BP Pulse data model(s)

* Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning)

* Work proactively and independently to address business and IT requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce data model delivery risks

* Work with Business Subject Matter experts to understand the business data and analytical requirements and focus areas

* Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models

* Continuously maintain, update and validate data models with key business representatives and end users, to ensure data relevancy and value for the organisation

* Recommend opportunities for reuse of data processes models in new environments across BP Pulse
