Control & Motion Senior Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our European Technical Centre. The ideal candidate will have experience of setting-up and programming PLCs, industrial communication (PROFINET, EtherCAT, IO-Link, etc.), motor drivers and instrumentation. for a wide range of products used in the automation industry.

The Company:

Our client is a clear industry leader in pneumatic technology, providing innovative technology and products to support automation. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Control & Motion Engineer to join their established team.

The Control & Motion Senior Engineer role:

Become a key part of a dynamic engineering team
Setting-up Motion Controllers and Servo Drivers
Reviewing requests for customised products are clear and viable
Provide technical product support to European subsidiaries and customers
Setting-up and programming PLCs
Planning and managing your own projects

We are looking for candidates with the following:

· Electrical, Electronics, Software or Electromechanical Engineering degree 2:1

· Configuring and programming PLCs

· Configuring and programming motor drives

· Linear, Rotary and gripping electrical motion applications

The Package:

Salary – £45-50K
Monday to Friday 8:00-5.00pm
