CCTV Field Service & Installation Subcontractor
This is an opportunity to work alongside a dynamic technology company with a specialist expertise in CCTV and access control security. Working with mainly commercial/ retail customers across central UK. Office is based in Milton Keynes so locality to Beds/ Bucks is useful.
The primary role of the Field Service & Installation Sub-contractor is to provide full system service visits and carry out installations as per instruction.
As well as this it requires the ability to carry out workshop and site-based repairs / maintenance of CCTV, HD & IP Systems and to be accomplished in this area and have relevant experience.
The Field Service & Installation Sub-contractor would be expected to lead any technical points with our suppliers or partners to ensure on site installations are carried out in an effective and efficient timely manner.
From time to time the installation works are further afield and overnight stays would be offered when not practical to travel to and from on consecutive days.
The Installation & Service Sub-contractor reports directly to the Senior Engineer and will need demonstrate key values shared by the Alert CCTV Systems Team. Contributing to its success and future.
The Installation & Service Sub-contractor will be expected to share the load with Senior Managers, of doing post installation visits and liaise with their clients to step through their service and upload remote viewing software.
You would be expected to demonstrate a high level of Health & Safety Credentials including ECS/ CSCS, IPAF, Manual Handling, Ladder Safety, Working at Height and comply with the high standards expected and delivered by Alert CCTV Systems.
Key Tasks
* Carry out Installation on site as per specification
* Diagnose and carry out repairs & maintenance
* Ensure the service schedule is up to date
* 4×5 Service calls daily depending on locality
* System reconfigurations
* Carry out surveys to assist with installations
* Carry out post installation visits in the absence of the Senior Engineer
* Provide clear and concise reports on a daily basis relating to the servicing and maintenance of the fleet
* Update the service check list with the Admin department daily
* Update the fault check list with the Admin department daily
* Demonstrate H&S Competence (ECS/ CSCS Card/ IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Working at Height, Ladder Training
