AR84 – Battery Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000

Overview:

As a Battery Engineer, you will assist a in providing standby battery maintenance, installation and commissioning. The role does require some staying away from home to satisfy contractual requirements, and you will be expected to work some weekend days as required by the company, overtime will be paid or can be taken in lieu. This role requires a lot of manual handling and heavy lifting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in carrying out routine battery maintenance activities.
Assist in carrying out Installation and commissioning, fault diagnosis of battery standby power systems. To include monitoring and associated warning systems. 
Ensuring that the standards of service are maintained and improved in line with company requirements.
Completing personal expenditure claims including, cash expenses, mileage logs and other expenses. 
Assist in carrying out any reasonable additional tasks as and when required.
Skills and Qualifications:

Electrical qualifications.
CSCS Card.
Ability to multitask.
Motivated.
Ability to act with a sense of urgency.
Excellent analytical skills.
Motivated.
A basic command of Microsoft Word and Excel
Full UK clean driving licence (minor points considered)
Ideally previous experience with standby Battery systems, but not essential as training will be given.
