ABB Robot Programming Engineer
RMGroup specialise in the supply of process and packaging machinery including robotic automation to various industries around the UK. The company continues to demonstrate rapid growth and continually seeks aspiring individuals to join the team.
As an ABB Robotic Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting RM Groups existing customer base with support in the robotics and programming department. Candidates will be required to modify PLC/Robot programmes within existing systems, fault finding will also be a regular part of the role.

ABB Robot Programming Engineer Desired Skills and attributes
* Modification of existing robot programmes to cater for customers ever changing needs. Installation of additional equipment & programmes.
* Experience of robot programming required. Proficiency with ABB IRC5/S4C programming essential.
* Demonstrate ability in PLC and robotic fault finding.
* Ability to perform online diagnostics and provide remote technical support to service customers.
* Knowledge of PLC Programming (Preferably Siemens S7-1200) & HMI Programming (Preferably Siemens, Weintek) needed. Further training may be provided.
* Effective team working skills in order to work alongside Service Manager, Service Engineers, and customers alike.
ABB Robot Programming Engineer Qualifications
* Electrical Qualifications, Electronic or Software Engineering or equivalent experience favourable.
* Desirable candidates would have prior experience working with ABB robots, possess accredited training certs, and Siemens PLCs.
RMGroup supply and install packaging machinery across the country and overseas. Candidates must be willing to travel and overnight stays may be required.
Hours: +45 Hours
Salary: Competitive salary dependant on experience.
Location: Based from home Or from our Factory in Milton Keynes, dependant on candidate locality.
