Protocol are happy to be working with an excellent Further Education college based in the the Buckinghamshire area. The college operate from multiple campuses which all offer industry standard facilities to enable students to practice their skills and reach their full potential.
The college is currently recruiting for a Technician in Carpentry on an on-going basis.
Job title: Technician in Carpentry
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay rate: £16- £18 per hour

Role responsibilities
To manage the workshops through liaison with the lecturer and HOD to ensure they are equipped and ready for planned practical sessions.
To ensure that students are abiding by the College Code of Conduct and their behaviour is appropriate.
Ensures that the workshop/studio users adhere to a cleaning regime, being accountable for the condition of the workshops, and all that communal areas are left clean and tidy.
Effectively manages the health and safety risk assessment and risk register process for designated learning areas and activities.
The person & qualifications
Must have experience as technician and industry experience in carpentry
Must have a Level 2 qualification in relevant subject area.
Maths and English qualification to Level 2 or higher
