The post is based near Bletchley, but is also commutable from areas such as Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, and Aylesbury.
Our workforce partner is a specialist education provider that strives to provide a good quality of education for pupils with additional needs in Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you are required to support and improve the learning and development of each child you work with, which is an extremely rewarding job role where no two days are the same. Working at the school, you should expect to manage extremely challenging and aggressive behaviour (both physical and verbal). With a strong interest and previous experience, personal experience and/or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN), the successful applicant will be a resilient and motivated individual, who is ready to start work as soon as possible and is able to provide pupils aged 5-16 years with consistency in a learning environment.
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm Mon-Fri
Rate of Pay: £75 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
YOU MUST DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT
This position would be ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, Care Workers, Support Workers, Sports Coaches, Ex-Military, Ex Police Officers, Youth Workers, Social Workers, Qualified or Experienced Counsellors and Ex Prison Officers.
